Friday Daily Devotional By Pastor David Okoye (Ambassadors Diet 15th July, 2016) – You Have All You Need
We serve a God who always goes ahead of us at every time. Little wonder Hebrews 12:2 tells “looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of God“.
He has authored and finished the life that you now live in the flesh. For every mission/work that God gives, He makes available every provision that we need. Realize that God will never give you a vision or task that you can accomplish on your own. Just like Jesus, you will need the Spirit of God to fulfill your God-given Vision and mission.
One of the most successful men in the work of the ministry is the Apostle Paul, and in Acts 18:10, Scripture exposes to us one of the reasons for his success.
The Lord told him “For I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee, for I have much people in this city“. In the next verse we see that Paul went on to spend a year and six months in Corinth. His success in Corinth wouldn’t have been possible if the ‘much people’ weren’t there to help him.
Note also that The Apostle never doubted the ability of the Father to care and plan for him. He knew that He is faithful, who had called him.
This truth is applicable to every man on a mission. The one who has sent you has prepared the way ahead of you. All you need do is see the ‘much people, God has sent ahead of you through the eyes of the Spirit and call them forth for all they that gather, gather towards you.
