Pastor David Okoye (Ambassadors Diet) – The New Creation

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:17

Oh, I love the way the Amplified translation puts it, “therefore if any person is (ingrafted) in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old (previous moral and spiritual condition) has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come.” Glory!

The new creation life is a life that the church needs to build herself into.

For as many that receives Jesus as their Lord, they are no longer of this world. They ought not to function with the world’s settings.

They have received a life unlike any other: the God-class of life. A man who has received this life ought not to bow to any situation that the world throws at him. He knows who He is, who He carries and what he has. He no longer lives a low class, mediocre life: he has the new-creation life.

Any Christian who keeps complaining of lack and how things are not going well has not come to the actualization that he has the new-creation life.

You are a king here on earth.

Revelation 1:6 says, “And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.” No king settles for mediocrity.

You may be living in the world, but you are not a product of the world.

You carry God in His fullness. Colossians 2:9 says, “For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.” It is an error for you to fail. The life you have received is far above human comprehension and far beyond the reach of the devil. The new creation life is not controlled by blood.

Every sickness in life is affiliated with blood.

When Jesus was crucified, the bible recorded that blood and water gushed out. That blood signified the end of the human age. This means that you have been translated from Psuche (residual Spirit) to Zoe (the life of God).

You are no longer flesh and blood, but flesh and bones.

Jesus said in Luke 24:39, “Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.” GLORY! You are a new creation, you cannot be found under the bondage of the devil.

You have the new creation life: you have been configured for success. You are a product of the Word: born of the incorruptible seed, the divine seed. You are alien to failure, sickness and all other elements of this world.

DECLARATION
Lord, I thank you, for your life that I have received. I function in this life daily. I am a new creation.
