“He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth.” Luke 11:23

When a Godchild says “I don’t want to be involved; I just want to be in church and worship God…” that Child of God is ignorant of the ways and operations of the Lord.

You see, our opening text makes it crystal clear that the one who does not get involved with the work, is classified with those that do not gather.

Never in a battleground, would you find some soldiers on the fence. You would never find soldiers in an army that will say, ‘I just want to keep coming to the camp, I just want to be a soldier and identify as one‘ but unfortunately, we find such statements in the church today.

This set of God’s children have not realized where they are. But the text above says more about ‘non-gathering’ Christians.

Luke 11:23 (MSG) makes it clearer “This is war, and there is no neutral ground. If you’re not on my side, you’re the enemy; if you’re not helping, you are making things worse.” These were the Words of Jesus! This is war, and if you are not fighting on God’s side, you are the enemy.

This is a wake-up call for God’s children. You’ve got to be a part of the work – willing to help out at all times.

Go into the streets and gather the lost souls.

In your service to the Lord, there is no middle ground for secret agents; you CANNOT be in the middle – you are either in or out. If you claim to be in, you have got to prove it by joining the workforce: helping to gather in the harvest and make the work productive.

Revelations 3:16 gives an idea of what happens to ‘neutral ground Christians.’ If you are lukewarm, you will be spewed out (discarded, thrown out). You’ve got to beware of those around you, who ought to be helping you fulfill the mandate – but are not helping. If they are not helping, then they are not with you.

You’ve been enlisted in the army of the lord, and you are on the battlefront.

You cannot afford not to fight or to stand in the middle of the battleground. Adorn yourself with your soldier’s garment, pick up your sword, and fight the good fight of faith. Get involved today!

DECLARATION:
I’m obedient to the call. I am involved in the work – refusing to be neutral. I’m neither cold nor lukewarm. I remain fervent.
