MORE: Monday daily devotional by Pastor David Okoye (Ambassadors Word Diet, 28th AUG, 2017) – Accessing the supernatural

“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3

Pastor David Okoye

If you would access the supernatural you would have to abide by the principles of the supernatural. Verse 5 of our opening scripture says,

“Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and [of] the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.”

The two verses above communicate two different things. Jesus is a master communicator. Over the years, so many Christians have overlooked these verses believing they communicate the same thing. God doesn’t say words to mesmerize you or to show how good His vocabulary is. Every Word God says connotes something of extreme importance.

Take a look at the underlined word in the text above. To ‘see’ a thing and to ‘enter’ a thing are not the same.

The capacity to see the supernatural is dependent on salvation. Until you accept Jesus into your heart, you would be unable to see the supernatural. But receiving salvation isn’t enough to get you into the supernatural.

The capacity to enter into the supernatural lies in conformity. To conform to a thing means to comply or be in agreement with that thing.

Our opening text shows us that for a man to enter into the supernatural, he has to be born of water and of the Spirit. The water is the Word of God and the Spirit, the Spirit of God. This simply means that you enter into the supernatural by the Spirit of God and the Word of God.

A child of God (having just the Spirit of God) would see the supernatural; but a Son of God (having both the Word and the Spirit of God) would enter into the supernatural.

God expects that you grow from being a child of God into becoming a Son of God.

Galatians 5:25 says,

“If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.”

A child of God lives in the Spirit, whereas a Son of God walks in the Spirit. Refuse to remain a child, grow unto maturity.

Give yourself to be tutored by the Word of God through the Spirit of God. Don’t stop at seeing the supernatural, enter into it.

DECLARATION:
I am a matured Son of God. I give myself to God’s Word even as I submit to the Lordship of His Spirit. I enter into the supernatural.
