“And all things [are] of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.” 2 Corinthians 5:18-19

God has committed into our hands a ministry. Through the death and resurrection of Jesus, we were ushered into a more glorious ministry; the ministry of reconciliation. This ministry is the highest calling a man can attain.

You have been called into the ministry of reconciling men to God, but sadly, so many Christians treat this honor with a carefree attitude. These ones have become lackadaisical and half-hearted towards God’s heartbeat.

It is often said that a man’s last words could be tagged his most important. Jesus spoke His last words on earth in Matthew 28:18-20, it says,

“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen.”

God expects every one of His Sons that have received the ministry of reconciliation by receiving salvation to go into the world and preach the Gospel to the ends of the earth.

The great commission as it is called is our most important assignment here on earth. It ought to be our utmost priority.

Reconciling men to God ought to be the first thing we center our hearts and focus to.

See everywhere you get into as a nation in dire need for the Gospel.

See everyone you come in contact with as a soul with an inner cry to be saved.

No part of the world and no man ought to be excluded from receiving this good news. You are a missionary here on earth and as such, your life is a mission.

Reconciling men to God ought to be your meat; it should be what you live for. Let your heart be centered on the Father’s will. There is a demand on you to reconcile men back to God.

DECLARATION:
I am a partaker of Christ’s divine nature. I give myself to the ministry of reconciliation. I live to fulfill the Father’s demand.
