Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. John 8:44

Jesus lived on the earth for 33 and half years and throughout His time on earth, He never told a lie.

Scripture tells us in 1 Peter 2:21-22,

For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth

No matter the situation He was faced with, He always spoke the truth. This is the height God wants you to come up to as a God-child. He wants you to always declare the truth no matter what happens, or what would happen.

There are so many Christians who do not have the truth in them. Know this; the truth is not what men say, or what the media tells you. The truth is the Word of God: it is what God says concerning you. John 17:17 says,

Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

If it isn’t what God says about you, then do not speak it.

A lie is anything that is found outside the circumference of God’s Word. Little wonder, Jesus tells us in our opening text that the truth can never be found in the devil. This is why the physical realm would always want you to speak the opposite of the Word of God.

Oh, take a look at Jesus; when He heard that Lazarus had passed away. He didn’t start wailing or
blaming God, as some Christians would; rather, He declared the truth: He said Lazarus was only asleep.

The events of life would always want you to speak a lie. The very moment you do so, you just lost something important. What you see and hear might appear as the truth, but your responsibility is to measure it up with the Word. If it is in conformity with the Word, you can declare it.

But if it isn’t, discard it immediately! Once you have the truth in you, it would produce faith in you, which would automatically propel you into your victory. You cannot get the victory over that situation when you do not have the truth in you.

Know this; you must not stop at having the truth alone, you are to also do the truth. You do the truth by voicing it out. As the faith comes, it is your responsibility to build it up.

The initial faith you receive would not carry you through. It is your responsibility to build up your faith by your confessions. Roar the Word; declare what God says about you. Your first response to every reaction must be the truth.

DECLARATION
I speak the truth always! I do not consider what I see; I declare what God sees. My confessions are consistent and continuous!
