“If you faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.” Proverbs 24: 10


The CEB rendering says,

If you show yourself weak on the day of distress, your strength is too small.

Notice, that the problem is not really that you faint or show yourself weak in the day of distress. The problem is that your strength is little; it’s too small. In the face of life’s challenges, and in your walk with the Lord, you’ve got to be able to trust the Lord Jesus and His trust on your life.

You’ve got to believe the trust He placed on you to give you all of Himself; His Spirit. He does not waste resources. If there is anyone that the responsibility of the kingdom of the Lord is on today, it is you. And the Lord trusts you to see that His work is done.

Not someone else; not some Pastor or some leader, you!

Our Lord Jesus says to you today “God authorized and commanded me to commission you; Go out and train everyone you meet, far and near, in this way of life…”

Matthew 28:19 (MSG) God has trust on you to ensure that the responsibility of the Gospel is carried
effectively. And if your convictions are not strong enough, you cannot carry the Gospel.

Look at Colossians 1:9,

For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.

This is so important for you as a Child of God. If you can only be filled with the knowledge of God’s will, you will see yourself work out the realities of Zion; you will see yourself fulfill purpose. When a child of God cannot tell what the will of God is for him, he is guaranteed to walk astray.

If people can’t see what God is doing, they stumble all over themselves; but when they attend to what he reveals, they are most blessed. Proverbs 29:18

Attend to the Word of God today, sow to His Spirit and be strengthened by His Spirit in your inner man.


DECLARATION
I give the more earnest heed to the Lord today! I am strengthened by His Spirit in His inner man today and forever. I am productive today and always.
