For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, the just shall live by faith Romans 1:17

For the past few days, we have been looking at the faith to faith principle. We have come to understand that God wants our faith to always be on a perpetual increase.

Faith is limitless, as such, it is important that we keep on progressing in the build-up of our faith. The level of God’s righteousness that would be revealed in your life is dependent on how you increase in your faith.

That is to say, God would not reveal some things to you as a believer if your faith has not arrived at a certain level. We also understand through God’s Word that the faith process would only be complete when your works are introduced into the equation.

Another thing plays a huge role in our faith to faith movement is our confessions; that is, aligning our confessions towards what God has spoken towards us.

We took Abraham as a case study. Today, we would be ending our series on the faith to faith principle. But, we would be looking at another very important tool in the build-up of our faith.

Jude 1:20 says,

But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost

This scripture is so needful for the God-child; as it contains a lot of truth. Firstly, notice the word, building.

This is a present continuous tense; that is, it is both present and yet, futuristic. You see, this shows
that we are not supposed to stop in the building up of our faith. It shows the limitless nature of faith.

We are to be continuous and consistent in the growing of our faith. If you are not consistent in the building of your faith, your faith would eventually be left stunted. Another thing worthy of note is the “…building up yourselves…” process.

The best way to build yourself up is by building your faith up. Your faith is you! If you focus on improving your faith, you would eventually see that your life as well would be improved.

But this build up can only be done when you pray in the Holy Ghost. Oh, little wonder Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 14:4,

He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself…

For every time you pray in the Spirit, you are not only building your faith up, but you are also
improving yourself.

Let praying in the Spirit become a habit. Not doing so means you are simply denying yourself of something great. Grow from faith to faith!

DECLARATION
I am consistent and continuous in the growing of my faith. I build my faith daily; I improve myself as well.
