Tuesday daily devotional by Pastor David Okoye (Ambassadors Word Diet, 17th July, 2018) – New tongues



And these signs shall follow them that believe; in my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues. Mark 16:17

In our diet study yesterday, we saw that when you speak in tongues, you communicate with the Father. We also saw that in every communication, two channels must participate; that is, the spoken word and the feedback received.

In other words, if you want to communicate with someone, you have to speak to the person and be able to receive. If you only speak and do not receive a response, then the communication process is not complete.

You see, speaking in tongues is the only known means in which both channels of communication are completed or satisfied in one. In order for us to fully understand this, we must go through some basic rudiments of communication.

For proper communication to be established, one party must let the other speak first before replying. In a situation where both parties are speaking concurrently, it is no longer communication, but conflict and noise.

But when we speak in tongues, the two channels are completed in that one language. The ability to achieve this is empowered by the Holy Ghost.

When you speak in tongues or pray in the Holy Ghost, everything you have to ask God, and everything He has to answer you are embedded in one.

That is, both the spoken word and the feedback are engrafted in the spoken word. Both parties are effectively communicating through just one of the parties.

This is a frequency of communication that humanity and the physical realm is yet to comprehend. It is an elevated level of communication. Speaking in tongues is the only means for you to talk and receive at the same time without conflicting.

When you speak in tongues, the clarity of what you want drops in your spirit. Speaking in tongues shows the ability God in multi-tasking.

DECLARATION
I function in a higher realm. I am blessed daily, because I spend time Fellowshipping with the Father.
