The Lagos state government has warned churches, mosques to stop the gathering of the crowd in their respective services, as the coronavirus outbreaks heightened in Nigeria.

The rule also states that not more than 50 people should be seen in churches and mosques.

Meanwhile, the General Overseer of the Synagogue Church Of All Nations, Prophet T.B. Joshua has acknowledged the new rule, even though thousands of people troop into his church every Sunday for service.

Prophet T.B. Joshua has declared that the coronavirus pandemic will end on the 27th of March

T.B. Joshua while reacting to the government’s restriction, pleaded that everyone should oblige with the warning notification.

He said: “Viewers, listen to your government and obey the instructions given to you. For example, instructions concerning gathering at this time. They are authorities established by God (Romans 13).

“A good Christian is a good citizen. Whatever life brings, you are not alone. We are on our knees praying for you and your nation.

“God bless you as you obey. Jesus is Lord!”

The Prophet had declared last week in his church that the coronavirus that has caused the shutting down of activities around the world, will end on the 27th of March.
