“Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles.” Proverbs 21:23

A man that lacks control over his tongue (words) cannot be perfect. This is because the tongue when not controlled has the ability to discredit, nullify and dishonor a Christian’s integrity and testimony.

The tongue even has the ability to alter God’s plan for a God-Child. If a man can learn to control his tongue, then he has complete dominance over himself; that is, he has complete control of himself. This is the perfect man.

You see, words are Spirits. When you speak, you produce Spirits that leave for the purpose for which they were said. That is, for every word you speak (be it good or evil), there is a Spirit produced; and that Spirit would move to bring to actualization the word that you have spoken.

If nothing on earth ever gets your life, your words surely will. This is because there is a connection between your words and the world you live in. The world was formed by words (The spoken Words of God); therefore, everything on earth is subject to words.

This is why you have got to learn how to bridle and control your tongue.

Every word you speak is a product of assimilated information. That is, the words you speak are born out of what you hear, see, feel and observe. Little wonder, Luke 6:45 says;

“Agood man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.”

Hence, if you can control what you hear, see and feel, then you have control over what you say.

As a God Child, you have to be super conscious that your language value is dependent on the quality of God’s Word in you and not grammatical vocabularies and lexicons. A man that is full of God’s Word can never speak wrong. You cannot live beyond your words: they guide and lead your life. Do not try to entertain people at the detriment of your testimony and integrity.

Never speak because you want to, speak because you are inspired to.

DECLARATION
I have total control over my tongue. My tongue is engaged with God’s Word. My words reflect the personality of God.
