Tiwa Savage leaves Mavin Records signs deal with Universal Music Group

Tiwa Savage has signed a recording deal with Universal Music Group

Nigerian star singer Tiwa Savage on Thursday signed a global recording deal with Universal Music Group hours after announcing her departure from Mavin Records.

Her future music will now be released internationally through UMG’s operations in more than 60 countries worldwide. Projects will be produced by Efe Ogbeni of Regime Music Societe and Vannessa Amadi-Ogbonna.

Excited Tiwa Savage said after signing the deal;

Tiwa Savage quits Mavin Records

Tiwa Savage officially quit Mavin Records after seven years. Her former record label founded by producer and singer, Don Jazzy bid her welfare after anouncing her departure.

Tiwa Savage became Mavin Records first female signee when she put pen to paper to join the star-studded label in 2012.
