Nigeria forward Victor Osimhen has on Sunday returned to Napoli for further treatment on his shoulder injury.
The striker was forced out of the Super Eagles 2022 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying clash against Sierra Leone on Friday after dislocating his shoulder.
Osimhen, who was replaced by Paul Onuachu, was later rushed to the hospital in an ambulance.
He travelled to Italy on Sunday morning and is not available for the reverse fixture against the Leone Stars at the Siaka Stevens Stadium, Freetown on Tuesday.
Club Brugge forward Emmanuel Dennis has also been ruled out of the game as a result of a knee injury.
Osimhen scored Nigeria’s second goal in the 4-4 draw at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City.
He has now scored four goals and recorded one assist in three appearances in the qualifiers.
